Alright everybody, I don't care if you think this is a bad suggestion. Whether it's good or not, it's a legit suggestion. So please, make my life easier and stop posting like asses because the OP has a history of non serious/trolling suggestions.

I don't care who the OP is...this is a stupid idea. There's a /sit command. Sitting on a bench like Forrest Gump would look ridiculous. The heroes of this game (i.e. YOU) don't have time to sit around on a bench...they're on a mission to save the fkn world. Get off your rump and go fight!

Benches...jesus.

With that logic, the heroes of the game don't have time to do anything but save the world, right? I mean, we don't have time to sit in Kamadan to buy high end weapons, we need to be saving the world!

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with the suggestion either, but the least you can do is come up with a better logic.

If guild wars to is going to allow us to jump over landscape and stuff, then why don't we just jump onto the benches and use /sit? We'd look like Spiderman, or something like that, but it's not like it requires a whole new bunch of coding on their part.

But double /notsigned for the "pressing buttons to make you do things while on the bench" idea.

I mean...yeah /sitting is fine, I dont mind about that...emotes are nice. But if Anet is going to update the game, I couldnt care less for emote updates...
I think I speak for a lot of ppl when I say this isnt what MMO players look forward too...But some reason, I dont know how to express it ENOUGH! lol

It's the symbolism of it. If there were benches, it would symbolize the town being like Central Park, not a defensible down in the middle of hostile territory.

We need our players to be more comfortable. For that, we need couches and sofas. The average tired traveler would no longer have to stand around, or even sit on uncomfortable benches! We'll have soft, relaxing couches for them.

To go with that, we need the /sleep emote. That'll allow them to truly take a great rest on these newly added couches and sofas.

What would that ad to the game, you hp and energy regen on there own, its not like you would gain anything from it. It wouldnt add to the game at all tbh, can you really see any benifit from it?

If you want your characters to sleep, just log off and go outside....

OP could have meant the warrior dance? probably.

I think it would be nice to have a gathering place where you can sit, rest or order drinks over the bar kind of stuff, it would make more sense to drink and get drunk while hanging around with the rest of the community and have the necessary animation to go with it. rather then have a line up of bikini babe dancing blocking the stairway :P~

PS: Role Playing is exactly why we need bench and couch (not crotch) if it isn't then there's no reason to have it.
